Welcome to Blogmas day 15!
I hope you are all having a lovely festive day, whatever it is that you are doing!
Don’t you just love it when your favourite tv programmes release a Christmas special? It’s so lovely just to cosy up with a hot chocolate or maybe a mulled wine and sit down to watch hours of Christmas specials that you’ve been waiting for!
Here are the programmes I look most forward to and enjoy to watch at Christmas time, let me know if there’s any that I’ve missed that you think are great to watch!
My Favourite TV Christmas Specials
Gavin and Stacey – A classic, one that most house holds watch! Comedy and hilarious adult humour! It’s a show I watch over and over!
Mrs Brown’s Boys – This show is full of adult humour, the Christmas special is one of the funniest episodes and is so easy to watch! I purchased the dvd for this year is I can watch it as many times as I like!
Eastenders – When I was in the UK it was tradition that we sit down to watch the Christmas special of Eastenders, it was, of course, full of drama. But that’s what we loved about it, the classic ‘who done it’ case would be revealed!
I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here – I miss this show sooo much! It was the sign that Christmas is coming, I loved the Iceland Christmas adverts that sponsored the programme too, they were always great.
Only Fools And Horses – An oldie, but a favourite! It’s a programme that you can’t see too many times! The Christmas special is a great family programme which matches well with sharing a tin of quality streets.
What programmes do you like to watch? Is there any family favourites that you traditionally watch together? Let me know in the comments below!
Merry Blogmas!
Love, Abby x
Recent tradition is to sit down with my mum and watch Call The Midwife, also loved Sherlock. I understand missing British tv though as I used to always go on holiday and would miss most of it!

I think my favourite was seeing Miranda Hart seriously acting instead of her usual comedy act.

I think it shocked a lot of people and made it easier to connect with the programme as you saw another side to her! It was such a well acted show and pulled on the heart strings! I haven’t seen it for a while now though, I’d love to binge watch the whole thing!
