Welcome to 2018.
Yeah, we are already a month in … how? I ask myself the same question.
I know that normally people post their first blog of the year in January but this past month I have been away in England visiting family and just didn’t have the time. So today I thought I’d fill you in on what I was up too and some of my favourite pictures from my trip.
A month seems like a long time, but with a huge itinerary and a lot of catch ups, a month was never enough. However I loved every minute of travelling up and down the country and even going to Paris (Blog to follow). We took so many pictures and have memories that will last forever.
A trip filled with hot chocolates and woolly hats, I was in my element. I ate way too much and indulged in all the foods Australia doesn’t have, do I regret eating so much? Never. I’d eat more.
The Places We Visited: Suffolk/Norwich/London/Windsor/Liverpool/Sheffield/Paris
I love how happy we are in these pictures, going back to the UK for both of us was so important. We met each others families (other than those who live in Aus) for the first time, we traveled together, we reminisced and got all the nostalgic feels. It was the most special time for us and I can’t wait to see what our next chapter brings. I don’t know where we’ll end up, but that makes it somewhat exciting.
2018 will be our year. So will the next and the one after that. Forever will be our time. Forever will be your time, make the most of it. Do what you want to do, do what makes you happy and have fun with it. Set some goals for yourself, jot some things down that you’d like to achieve this year and work hard for it.
Do it for yourself.

I did!! I actually thought of you when I was in Liverpool as I remember speaking to you a few months before I went. Unfortunately I received news that we’d had a break in back in Australia so I didn’t feel like exploring. I’d love to go back to Liverpool and explore the city, the people were so lovely and even better – Liverpool won! I can’t wait to go back, we’re thinking maybe August! 😊 Thanks for your lovely comment! Xxx

Thank you! Everything’s okay, it’s just more the tidying up and going through insurance (thank goodness we had it!) but it wasn’t the best thing to happen! But still… I loved Liverpool and I will go back. I can imagine in Summer it would be lovely! 🌞 xxx
