TV around the festive season is just my absolute fave, there’s so many exciting shows and films on. Especially when it comes to Christmas on Netflix, I love watching the cheesy originals with a hot chocolate in hand. Have you already made plans for what you’ll be watching this Christmas time?
Here’s what I’ll be watching, and what I’m most excited to watch too!…
Cosy Christmas Specials
I love the build up to the Christmas specials on TV, the ‘who done it’s?’ or ‘who’s going to die on the square this year?’ (yes, I’m talking about Eastenders) haha. There’s so much speculation about what will happen and what the next story line will be – I just love the drama of it! This year I am most excited about the return of Gavin and Stacey – AHHH! 11 years later and we might finally have the answers to the questions we’re all asking. Like, ‘what happened on the fishing trip?’.
New Releases
- Gavin and Stacey
- Eastenders
Christmas Classics
- Gavin and Stacey Christmas special 2008
- Royale Family
- Mr’s Browns Boys
I really enjoy being all cosyed up with a big fluffy blanket and a good bit of telly on, I feel like that’s mostly what I’ll be doing this year on Christmas Day! Are there any Christmas specials that you enjoy watching or are looking forward to this year?
Festive Films
There’s no doubt that I’ll be watching all the classics – I’m talking; Love Actually, Home Alone, The Holiday Elf and Miracle on 34th Street. But, there’s also a few new releases that I’m looking forward to this year, Netflix are supplying a festive treat with their originals!

- Let It Snow
- Merry Happy Whatever

Do you have any classic films that you watch every year without fail? I find watching Christmas movies are so much fun, especially whilst wrapping or enjoying a big hot chocolate and tucking into a tin of quality street!
I hope you’re feeling festive after reading this post, I sure am!
Love, Abby x
